Beards go through four stages after shaving:
1. Squeaky clean
2. Yucky bristle
3. Soft plush
4. Itchy dangler
I enjoy states 1 and 3, but most of the time I’m in state 2 or 4.
Changing this situation would require a much greater commitment to shaving than I’m prepared to offer.
